OGITECH Governing Council Commends Rector Over Infrastructural Development

The Governing Council of the Ogun State Institute of Technology (OGITECH), Igbesa, has commended the institution's management for its ongoing infrastructural development projects and efforts to improve academic excellence.
The commendation was made during the Council's fourth statutory meeting, held on Thursday, October 8, 2026, at the Institute's Conference Room. The meeting was presided over by the Chairman of the Governing Council, Chief Ayotunde Ola Odulaja.
As part of the meeting's activities, council members embarked on an inspection tour of completed and ongoing projects across the institution. The inspection was led by Chief Odulaja alongside the Rector, Dr Abiodun Oluseye, other council members and the management team.
Facilities inspected included the newly completed modern bookshop and ultra-modern library complex. The delegation also visited ongoing projects, including the ultra-modern science laboratory building and the School of Communication and Information Technology.
Following the inspection, the Governing Council expressed satisfaction with the pace and quality of work across the various project sites. It also praised the Rector and his management team for their contributions to the institution's growth and development.
The Council acknowledged the significant transformation taking place at OGITECH and expressed confidence that the institution would achieve further progress under its current leadership.
In his response, the Rector reaffirmed management's commitment to sustaining infrastructural development and improving academic standards across the Institute.
Dr Oluseye also acknowledged the Governing Council's guidance and support in advancing the institution's development agenda.
The management reiterated its commitment to strengthening OGITECH's position among polytechnics and other tertiary institutions in Nigeria through continued investment in infrastructure, teaching, learning and overall academic excellence.
