SUG-BUK Welcomes Students Back for Second Semester of 2025/2026 Academic Session

The Students' Union Government, Bayero University Kano, SUG-BUK, has warmly welcomed all students back to campus for the Second Semester of the 2025/2026 Academic Session.

In a Special Bulletin dated Monday, 7th September, 2026, signed by the Public Relations Officer, Comr. Inyasi Hamza, the Union encouraged students to approach their academic responsibilities with renewed commitment and seriousness.

The bulletin noted that the Second Semester is one of the shortest semesters in the academic session. Students who are yet to resume were strongly advised to do so without further delay, as faculty timetables have already been released.

SUG-BUK assured students that the semester promises to be remarkable, with several impactful programmes, events, initiatives, and opportunities planned to promote students' welfare, development, and success.

The Union urged every student to make the most of the semester by prioritising their studies, staying prayerful, participating actively in university activities, and creating meaningful memories during their time at the University.

"The Students' Union Government wishes all students an outstanding and successful semester, with excellent academic results and remarkable achievements. Once again, welcome back, and we wish you a productive and fulfilling Second Semester," the statement read.
