Tai Academic Council Reaffirms Commitment to FUET–Host Community Partnership During Vice-Chancellor Visit

The Tai Academic Council (TAC) has reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening collaboration between the Federal University of Environment and Technology (FUET), Koroma/Saakpenwa, and its host community following a courtesy visit to the University's Vice-Chancellor.

The delegation, made up of scholars and professionals committed to advancing education, promoting equity and fostering community engagement, visited the Vice-Chancellor on Tuesday, July 28, 2026.

According to the Council, the visit provided an opportunity to engage with the University's leadership and reinforce its support for initiatives aimed at strengthening the relationship between FUET and the Tai host community.

The Council described collaboration, mutual respect and inclusivity as essential pillars for sustainable institutional development, stressing the importance of continuous engagement between the University and its host community.

Members of the delegation also expressed their readiness to work closely with the University's management in advancing initiatives that promote academic excellence, community development and the institution's long-term growth.

The visit further served as a platform to identify areas of mutual interest and explore strategic partnerships that will contribute to the continued development of the University while fostering stronger ties with the Tai community.
