The University College Hospital, UCH, Ibadan, has successfully performed its first Neuronavigation Spine Surgery on 25th February, 2026 at the Main Theatre of the hospital.

According to Prof. Abiodun Adeolu, Head of the Neurosurgical Department, Neuronavigation Spine Surgery is a cutting-edge procedure that uses advanced imaging like a GPS to guide surgeons with pinpoint precision.

The Chief Medical Director, Prof. Jesse Abiodun Otegbayo, congratulated the Neurosurgical team, stating that “it is a victory for all.”
