The University of Port Harcourt is inviting applications from qualified candidates for its Pre-Degree Programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session.
Eligibility: Applicants must have a minimum of five (5) credits in not more than two sittings in English Language and other relevant subjects (GCE, SSCE, NECO, NABTEB).
Course Duration: One academic session (one year).
Aptitude Test: Details are available on the University website or at the Certificate and Pre-Degree Unit.
Method of Application: Applications are online via utmedetails.uniport.edu.ng, with a non-refundable fee of Twenty Thousand Naira (bank charges apply). The name on candidates’ O’Level certificates must match the name used in the online application. Applicants must provide a functional phone number and email address. False information will lead to disqualification.
Screening Exercise Materials: Candidates must bring:
- Printed clear copy of online Photocard
- Biro, HB pencil, and eraser
- Non-programmable calculator
Registration: Successful candidates will be notified in due course.
Requirements to Progress to Degree Programme: Candidates must:
- Pass the prescribed Pre-Degree examinations
- Meet the UTME subject combination requirements
- Achieve the University’s minimum UTME score for 2026/2027 and select UNIPORT as first choice
