The completed projects include a Botanical Garden and a Zoological Garden, both financed through the university's Internally Generated Revenue, as well as a Storage Building for the Physics and Chemistry Laboratories. The storage facility was funded through the Federal Government Appropriation and completed with support from the university's IGR.

Speaking during the handover ceremony, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Hakeem Babatunde Fawehinmi, formally presented the facilities to the respective deans and urged them to maximise their use in advancing teaching, research, and practical learning.
