University of Maiduguri Announces 43rd Matriculation Ceremony

The University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID) has announced its 43rd Matriculation Ceremony, scheduled to take place on Monday, March 10, 2025, at 10:00 am in the Convocation Square.

The ceremony marks a significant milestone for new students, as they officially matriculate and begin their academic journey at UNIMAID. The university emphasized that matriculation is mandatory for all new students.

The academic gowns for the ceremony will be available for collection through College/Faculty Officers from Tuesday, March 4, 2025. Students are expected to return the gowns by Wednesday, March 12, 2025. Failure to return the gowns or damage to the gowns will result in students paying the full cost of the gown, as determined by the Bursar.

The university has extended an invitation to all staff, students, and the general public to attend the ceremony.
