UNIZIK Management Pays Condolence Visit to Family of Late Chief Ozo German Nwofor
The Vice-Chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Professor Ugochukwu Bond Stanley Anyaehie, on Monday, November 24, 2025, led a delegation of the University Management to condole with the family of Late Chief Ozo German Nwofor (Enyikwonwa) of Umuogbunu village, Awka.
The Vice-Chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Professor Ugochukwu Bond Stanley Anyaehie, on Monday, November 24, 2025, led a delegation of the University Management to condole with the family of Late Chief Ozo German Nwofor (Enyikwonwa) of Umuogbunu village, Awka.

Speaking on behalf of the family, Barrister Chukwuma Nwofor expressed appreciation for the visit and highlighted the late Chief Nwofor’s long-standing contributions to the University. He recalled that Chief Nwofor donated a luxurious estate at the institution’s temporary site, a vital support that facilitated UNIZIK’s take-off following its demerger from ASUTECH, Enugu. He described the deceased as an industrialist, philanthropist and community pillar whose generosity impacted numerous lives.
In his remarks, Professor Anyaehie conveyed the University’s condolences and assured the family of its support during the burial ceremonies. He requested that the institution be duly informed of all arrangements.
