13,000 Candidates Sit for UNIDEL Post UTME

The University of Delta (UNIDEL) has conducted its Post UTME screening exercise for the 2025/2026 academic session, with approximately 13,000 candidates participating.

According to the Chairman of the Post UTME Screening Committee, Prof. Sunday Adewale, the number of candidates has been increasing geometrically since 2022, reflecting the institution's rapid growth and development.

The Post UTME Committee is expected to submit the report and results to the Vice Chancellor on Thursday, August 21, 2025. Prof. Adewale expressed optimism that the results would be released within 72 hours after submission.

The Director of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Dr. (Mrs.) Bridget Malasowe, praised the seamless conduct of the exams, attributing it to the institution's effective leadership. Prospective students, including Gift Emmanuel and Fortress Rubere, expressed satisfaction with the exercise, citing the university's academic excellence, discipline, and decency as reasons for their interest in being admitted.
