ABU New Vice-Chancellor Prof. Adamu Ahmed Pledges Collaboration with Senate

The Vice-Chancellor of Ahmadu Bello University, Prof. Adamu Ahmed, has expressed his commitment to working closely with the University Senate to shape the institution's future.

During his inaugural address at a special Senate meeting, Prof. Ahmed emphasized the importance of collaboration in formulating and implementing policies that would drive the university's academic excellence.

He sought the Senate's wisdom, support, and constructive scrutiny on key matters, including curriculum development, academic standards, admissions, research policy, and student affairs. Prof. Ahmed also emphasized the need to uphold the integrity of the university's degrees and ensure that graduates are globally competitive, employable, and socially responsible.
