Lens Polytechnic LIS Students Visit Muhammadu Buhari Library, KWASU

The Department of Library and Information Science, Lens Polytechnic, Offa, has embarked on a knowledge discovery visit to the Muhammadu Buhari Library, Kwara State University, Malete.

The visit was part of the Department's commitment to promoting experiential learning and professional development among students.

It was designed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge acquired in the classroom and its practical application in the professional environment. It provided students with opportunities to observe library operations, explore modern information management practices and gain firsthand insights into the roles and responsibilities of information professionals.

The institution said it remains committed to equipping students with practical knowledge and professional competencies required to excel.
