JAMB Inspects FCE Jama'are CBT Centre With 276 Computer Systems

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has conducted an inspection visit to the Federal College of Education (FCE), Jama'are, to assess its Computer-Based Test (CBT) Centre, which is equipped with 276 computer systems, ahead of its approval as an official JAMB examination centre.

The inspection team assessed essential facilities, technological infrastructure and other available resources at the centre to ensure they meet the standards and operational requirements established by the Board.

The inspection is part of the necessary procedures required before the centre can be granted full accreditation to conduct JAMB examinations and other computer-based tests.

If the centre receives final approval, it will bring tremendous relief to students and admission seekers in Jama'are and neighbouring communities, as they will no longer have to travel long distances to other towns to sit for their JAMB examinations.

The development also demonstrates ongoing efforts to expand access to modern examination facilities and promote educational advancement in Jama'are and its surrounding communities.
