Abubakar Tatari Ali Polytechnic Gets N89.6m NELFUND Disbursement for Students
Abubakar Tatari Ali Polytechnic, Bauchi, has confirmed receiving a total of N89.6 million from NELFUND for the 2025/2026 academic session.

Abubakar Tatari Ali Polytechnic, Bauchi, has received N89.6 million in NELFUND support for the 2025/2026 academic session, benefiting students.
The Polytechnic, in an acknowledgement letter dated August 5, 2026, said the latest disbursement of N12.39 million benefited 242 students, bringing the institution’s total NELFUND support for the academic session to N89,602,556.
The latest payment, described as the fourth batch of the disbursement, was dated June 8, 2026, according to the Registrar of the institution, Lawal Sambo.
The Polytechnic said the fourth batch came on top of N77.21 million earlier disbursed under the first, second and third batches.
The institution expressed appreciation to NELFUND for its intervention, saying the programme was helping to promote access to quality education.
In the letter addressed to NELFUND’s Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Akintunde Sawyerr, the Polytechnic’s management said the institution valued its partnership with the student loan agency and looked forward to continued collaboration.
The Polytechnic said the latest intervention represented a “laudable educational support programme” and conveyed its appreciation to the Federal Government and the Fund.
