Adeyemi Federal University of Education Muslim Community Welcomes New Chief Imam

The Muslim Community in Adeyemi Federal University of Education (AFUED) Ondo has welcomed Dr. Ismail Odeniyi as its new Chief Imam. Dr. Odeniyi succeeded Dr. S. S Zubair, who recently retired from the University.

The AFUED Muslim Community Chairman, Prof. AbdulRasheed Oloyede, expressed optimism that Dr. Odeniyi's appointment would usher in peace and progress in the institution.

Prof. Oloyede advised student members to pay necessary dues and register courses on time to avoid academic setbacks.

The AFUED Muslim Community Chair expressed gratitude to members for financial contributions towards the construction of the University mosque.

Dr. Ismail Odeniyi emphasized the importance of strong faith and belief in God Almighty, citing several Quranic verses and six articles of faith. He stressed the need for people to seek God's face constantly to enjoy divine blessings . The event featured Quran recitation, supplications, and prayers for the University, Ondo Community, and Nigeria.
