From Lagos Slum to First Class: Ayomide Olubunmi's Inspiring LASU Journey

Ayomide Olubunmi, a graduate of Lagos State University, has shared her inspiring journey from growing up in a Lagos slum to graduating with first-class honours and a CGPA of 4.77.

After losing her father at five months old, she was raised by her mother who struggled to provide for the family through street trading and other jobs. Ayomide also hawked sachet water as a teenager.

Her opportunity came when an uncle based in Germany learned about her circumstances and agreed to sponsor her education.
