AE-FUNAI Announces Revised Dates for First Semester Examinations for 2025/2026 Session

The management of Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu-Alike (AE-FUNAI) has announced a revised schedule for the commencement of the 2025/2026 first semester examinations.

In a memorandum signed by the Registrar, T. Ifeanyi Igwe, Esq., on February 26, 2026, the university explained that the academic calendar was affected by the ongoing ASUU Health/Sports Week and the registration period for fresh students, which also delayed the 14th Matriculation Ceremony.

Following approvals from the Vice-Chancellor and the University Management Committee, examinations will now begin as follows:

• Returning students: Thursday, March 12, 2026
• 100-level students (GST and CBT exams): Monday, March 16, 2026

The university has called on all staff and students to comply strictly with the adjusted timetable to ensure a smooth and orderly examination process.
