Bayero University, Kano (BUK) has issued an update on the ongoing NELFUND institutional charges refund exercise for the 2024/2025 academic session.
The Directorate of Public Affairs (Office of the Registrar) informed students that a total of 4,632 students were initially scheduled to receive refunds. As of the latest update:
- 3,951 students have successfully received their refunds.
- 681 students are yet to receive theirs.
The delay affecting the remaining students is attributed to:
- Late or non-submission of payment receipts
- Submission of Tier One (small) account details
- Incorrect bank account information
- Graduated students not submitting their statements of results
The University has urged all affected students to submit the required documents and provide accurate bank account details immediately to ensure their refunds are processed without further delay.
Students are advised to act promptly to avoid missing out on this refund exercise.
