Ajayi Crowther University BOT Chairman Leads Working Visit, Inspects Upgraded Health Centre
The Chairman of the Board of Trustees (BOT) of Ajayi Crowther University (ACU), Oyo, Chief Wole Olanipekun, SAN, has led a working visit to the university campus, during which he inspected the institution's recently upgraded health centre and held strategic engagements with the university's leadership.

The visit, which took place on Monday, 13 July 2026, was aimed at strengthening collaboration between the Board of Trustees and the university's academic and administrative leadership.
Chief Olanipekun was accompanied by the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council, Dr. Olutoyin Okeowo; the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Ebunoluwa Oduwole; other members of the Board of Trustees; Principal Officers; Deans; and Directors.
During the visit, the BOT Chairman and his delegation held interactive sessions with Deans of various faculties and Directors of centres, discussing issues relating to the university's growth and development.
In a spontaneous moment during the campus tour, the delegation met students from the Department of Nursing in the university's central core area, leading to a brief and friendly interaction.
A major highlight of the visit was the inspection of the university's upgraded health centre. The delegation toured the refurbished facility, inspected its newly installed amenities and equipment, and commended the Vice-Chancellor and her management team for the improvements.

Before the inspection, members of the Board of Trustees held a meeting in the University's Council Chamber, where they deliberated on key matters aimed at advancing the institution's development.
The university noted that Chief Olanipekun has maintained a longstanding commitment to its growth. Before his appointment as Chairman of the Board of Trustees, he served as Pro-Chancellor, during which he and his wife donated a new Vice-Chancellor's Lodge to replace the former structure.
