BAUK VC Advocates Inclusion of Private Universities in Federal Intervention Programmes

The Vice-Chancellor of Baba-Ahmed University, Kano, Professor Adamu Idris Tanko, FRGS, FANG, has called for increased government support for private universities across Nigeria.

Speaking during an interview today on NTA's special documentary programme, "National Development by the Presidency," Professor Tanko emphasized the need for private institutions to benefit from intervention initiatives such as NELFUND, TETFund projects, research grants, and other educational support programmes.
