Redeemer’s University Lecturer Bags Second Master’s at 25 with Perfect 5.0 GPA

Redeemer’s University has reinforced its reputation for academic excellence as Assistant Lecturer in Business Administration and Marketing, Oluwatomisin Okeniyi, earned her second master’s degree at just 25 years old.

Okeniyi recently graduated with a Master of Public Policy (MPA) from Miva Open University with an outstanding 5.0 cumulative GPA, emerging as one of the institution’s top graduating students. The feat comes a year after she earned her first Master’s degree in Marketing at Redeemer’s University with distinction at age 24.

Speaking on her achievement, Okeniyi highlighted Redeemer’s University’s pivotal role in her journey, noting how she combined demanding academics with her responsibilities as an Assistant Lecturer.

“BSc at 20, MSc at 24, MPA at 25, and praying for a PhD by 28,” she stated, reflecting on her steady academic progression and commitment to excellence.

She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at 20 with a Second Class Upper from Redeemer’s University, then proceeded to a distinction in her MSc in Marketing before expanding into Public Policy.

According to her, balancing postgraduate studies, an ongoing doctoral programme, and teaching required discipline and resilience. She credited Redeemer’s University’s supportive academic environment for making the feat possible.

Beyond academics, she expressed gratitude for her family’s encouragement and acknowledged her faith as a guiding force.

Looking ahead, Okeniyi said she remains focused on achieving her PhD before 28, alongside pursuing conferences, research opportunities, and further professional milestones.
