The programme, themed “Education Without Borders,” runs from June 22 to 26, 2026, and brings together Vice-Chancellors, university administrators, policymakers and higher education experts from Nigeria and globally to exchange ideas and explore emerging trends in higher education.
CVCNU regularly organizes international executive development and study tours with leading universities worldwide to strengthen leadership capacity, foster partnerships, promote research collaboration, advance digital transformation, and enhance university governance.
The Dublin programme provides participants unique opportunities to engage with global best practices in higher education management, institutional leadership, innovation, research development, internationalization, and strategies for building globally competitive universities.

Prof. Sulaiman’s participation reflects IBBUL’s commitment to academic excellence, international engagement, and strategic partnerships that will enhance teaching, learning, research and community development.
Also participating are Governing Council members Engr. Inuwa Musa Kuta and Dr. Adeniyi Yemisi Bisi, alongside Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) Professor Mohammed Aliyu Bello. Their presence demonstrates the university’s collective commitment to strengthening institutional leadership and exploring innovative approaches to higher education administration.
The study tour is expected to open new avenues for collaboration between Nigerian and international institutions in research, staff and student exchanges, innovation, capacity building, and academic development.
Since assuming office, Prof. Sulaiman has championed initiatives to strengthen IBBUL’s academic profile, expand infrastructure, attract research opportunities, promote international collaborations, and position the university as a leading institution in Nigeria and beyond.
Knowledge, experiences and networks gained are expected to contribute significantly to IBBUL’s efforts to produce globally competitive graduates, enhance research output, and advance sustainable national development through quality education.
