Crescent University Maintains Academic Excellence with 7th Consecutive 100% Pass Rate in Nursing Council Exams

Crescent University, Abeokuta (CUAB), has once again demonstrated its leadership in medical education, securing a 100% pass rate in the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) professional examinations for the seventh consecutive time.

The Vice Chancellor, Professor Ibraheem Gbajabiamila, officially announced the results during a formal presentation of the 400-level undergraduates who successfully cleared the March 2026 Registered Midwifery (RM) professional diet.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Head of the Department of Nursing, Dr. Shafiu Ademola, commended the newly registered midwives for their resilience. "This achievement is a testament to your hard work, discipline, and commitment to excellence," Dr. Ademola stated, noting that the students emerged successful after "rigorous academic and clinical training."

Dr. Ademola also extended gratitude to the university management for providing a high-standard learning environment and to the parents for their unwavering support and sacrifices.

The event served as a double celebration, as the University Registrar, on behalf of management, congratulated Dr. Ademola on his recent conferment as a Fellow of the African Institute of Public Health Professionals.

The high-profile ceremony was attended by key university officials, including Deputy Vice Chancellor Prof. Rasaki Kareem, University Bursar Alh. Tirimisiyu Gbadebo Ogunmefun, and representatives of the Crescent University Parent Forum (CUPAF).
