Edo State University Announces 18th Inaugural Lecture
Edo State University, Iyamho, has announced the 18th edition of its Inaugural Lecture Series, with the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Victor Olawale Adetimirin, FNBPA, extending the invitation on behalf of the University Council, Senate, staff, and students.

The lecture will focus on critical environmental and health issues, bringing together academics, professionals, stakeholders, and members of the public for intellectual engagement.
The inaugural lecture is titled, "Back to Our Roots: The Panacea to Insults and Assaults."

The lecture will be delivered by Professor Usunomena Usunobun, a Professor of Environmental and Biochemical Toxicology. She holds a B.Sc. in Biochemistry from Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, an M.Sc. in Biochemistry from the University of Ibadan, and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Benin.
The event is scheduled to hold on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at the Aliko Dangote Auditorium, Edo State University, Iyamho, Edo State.
