The Management of Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT) has announced the extension of the verification and registration period for both new and returning students, now set to end on Friday, January 16, 2026.
This decision follows findings from the University’s Taskforce on Registration of Students, which indicated that as of December 19, 2025, only 50% of new students had completed registration, while less than 10% of continuing students had met the registration requirements.
Registrar Ambrose G. Ugwu issued a memorandum stating that the extension aims to provide ample time for all students to complete the process. He further warned that students who fail to verify and register by the new deadline will face appropriate sanctions as determined by University Management.
All Deans, Heads of Departments, Faculty Officers, ICT Faculty Representatives, and Admission/Registration Officers have been directed to ensure full compliance with this directive.
The University Management also extended warm Christmas greetings to all students.
