FCE(T) Gombe Provost Leads Management on Congratulatory Visit to Sports and Youth Development Commissioner
The Provost of the Federal College of Education (Technical), Gombe, Dr. Mohammed Gazali Abdulhamid, on Thursday, August 20, 2026, led the College Management on a congratulatory visit to the Gombe State Commissioner for Sports and Youth Development, Barrister Yusuf Abdullahi, at his office.
The visit was primarily to congratulate Barrister Yusuf Abdullahi on his appointment as the Gombe State Commissioner for Sports and Youth Development.
The visit also provided an opportunity for the College Management to express its solidarity, goodwill and support to the Honourable Commissioner as he assumes his new responsibilities. The College expressed confidence in his ability to bring his experience, commitment and understanding of the State's developmental needs to bear in the discharge of his duties.

The Provost expressed appreciation to the Executive Governor of Gombe State, His Excellency, Alhaji Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, for finding one of the College's staff worthy of appointment as a Commissioner.
Dr. Gazali described the appointment as a source of pride to the College community and urged the Commissioner to justify the confidence reposed in him by the Governor and the people of Gombe State. He encouraged him to serve with fairness, dedication and a strong sense of responsibility.
Responding, Barrister Yusuf Abdullahi appreciated the Provost and the College Management for the visit and gesture of goodwill. He assured the delegation of his commitment to discharging his responsibilities diligently and in the overall interest of the people of Gombe State.
The visit reaffirmed the strong relationship and shared commitment between the Federal College of Education (Technical), Gombe, and the Gombe State Government, and underscored the College's readiness to continue supporting initiatives that promote education, sports, youth development and the overall development of the State.
