Federal Government Mandates Final Year Project Submission for NYSC Participants

The Federal Government of Nigeria has introduced a new regulation requiring all prospective National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members to submit their academic theses or project reports to the Nigeria Education Repository and Databank (NERD) as a prerequisite for mobilization or exemption from the scheme.

This directive, effective from October 6, 2025, aims to safeguard the nation's intellectual assets and restore credibility to academic processes and qualifications.
