National Universities Commission Conducts Resource Verification Visit to UCH Ibadan School of Nursing

The National Universities Commission (NUC) conducted a resource verification visit to the School of Nursing, University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan, on September 25, 2025. The visit aimed to assess the institution's readiness for the degree accreditation programme.

The team lead, Mrs. Clara Abu, Deputy Director of NUC, expressed appreciation for the hospital management's hospitality and cooperation, which made the exercise seamless.

Prof. Umar Lawal, a team member from Bayero University, stated that the visit focused on evaluating the institution's facilities, human resources, and material resources in preparation for the accreditation programme.

The Chief Medical Director, Prof. Jesse Abiodun Otegbayo, assured the team of the management's full support for a successful verification exercise.

The visit underscores the importance of accreditation in ensuring the quality of academic programmes in Nigerian universities.
