Federal Polytechnic Oko Rector Inspects Multi-Million Naira Hospitality Management Complex Following Decade-Long Hiatus

The Rector of Federal Polytechnic Oko , Dr Chioma Irene Awuzie on Wednesday 17th, December 2025 inspected ongoing work at the gigantic Hospitality Management Building Complex in the Institution.

The building which has reached advanced stage is made up of staff offices, two conference halls and state of the art guest rooms. The building had been distressed for over ten year following the suspension of work on it ;however, efforts made by the Rector after she assumed office in February this year, led to the revitalization of work on the project through TETfund intervention.

The Rector who was accompanied by some members of the management expressed satisfaction at the spate of work on the building stating that on completion, it will enhance learning and boost the training of hospitality management students on the practical aspect of the course.
