FPOG Inaugurates Third Substantive Students' Union Government

FPOG has officially inaugurated its third substantive Students' Union Government (SUG) following the successful conduct of the Students' Union election on campus.

Speaking during the inauguration ceremony, the Rector, Dr. Victor Okolobah, ably represented by the Dean, Students' Affairs, Dr. A. A. Azunwo, congratulated the newly elected student leaders and urged them to build on the achievements of previous administrations. He charged the new executives to provide purposeful leadership and make meaningful contributions to student governance that will leave a lasting legacy on campus.

The Rector emphasised that the new administration bears the responsibility of upholding the values of service, accountability and dedication while advancing the interests and welfare of the student body.

The newly inaugurated officers are:

3. Secretary General - Tamunoiyobo Pollyn

9. Sales Secretary - Esther Daniel Koole

Responding on behalf of the newly inaugurated executives, SUG President, Comrade Christopher Favour, assured the Rector and the management of the Polytechnic that the team would do its best to uphold the virtues and values of the institution.

The inauguration marks the beginning of a new chapter in student leadership at FPOG, as the newly constituted SUG assumes responsibility for representing students and contributing to the continued growth and development of the Polytechnic.
