FUNAAB COLENG Students Conduct Surveying and Photogrammetry Exercise

Students from the College of Engineering (COLENG) at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), have undertaken a practical field exercise on surveying and photogrammetry at the university's Ring Road.

The exercise aimed to enhance their technical competence and practical understanding of land measurement and analysis. Students used instruments such as the Theodolite, tripod stand, and ranging rod to determine the slope and profile of the land, applying the rise and fall method.

The hands-on experience reinforced classroom knowledge, providing essential skills for professional engineering practice, including determining Mean Sea Level, establishing control points, and supporting site preparation activities.
