The Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) National Alumni Electoral Committee (FNAEC) has officially announced the commencement of the 2025 Alumni Election campaign.

Ajayi Busuyi, Chairman of FNAEC, confirmed that following a comprehensive review of security reports concerning certain contestants, all previously identified issues affecting the electoral process have been satisfactorily resolved.

The campaign period will run from Monday, 25th August to Tuesday, 30th September 2025. All duly qualified contestants listed by the Committee are authorized to commence campaign activities in line with the approved schedule. Each contestant is also required to prepare a five-minute video presentation of their manifesto for the position being contested. The videos should be forwarded to the Committee via WhatsApp (08104453887) on or before 31st August 2025 for official documentation and record purposes.

The alumni election is scheduled to hold on Wednesday, 15th October 2025. The Committee urged all contestants to conduct their campaigns with integrity, decorum, and respect for the Alumni Association.

Ajayi Busuyi emphasized that adherence to the election timetable and campaign regulations is critical to ensuring a smooth and credible election process.
