Jesunifemi “TENTEN” Asoore, former FUTASU President, has been appointed Coordinator of the Nigeria Collegiate Flag Football League (NCFFL).

Partnering with Amoo Emmanuel “EMMY,” former Director of Sports in the FUTASU 22/23 Administration, the duo is driving the growth of Flag Football across Nigerian tertiary institutions. This non-contact variant of American football focuses on strategy, speed, and teamwork, making it an exciting addition to the collegiate sports scene.

The Nigerian American Football Association (NAFA) hosted the first-ever Flag Football Exhibition on Saturday, December 6th, in Lagos. The event was attended by Dr. Alayode Ajibua, University Director of Sports and Vice-President of the Nigerian University Games Association (NUGA), highlighting the increasing recognition of the sport at the national level.
