FUTA Schedules Combined Matriculation Ceremony for Fresh Undergraduate and Postgraduate Students

The Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA), has announced that the combined Matriculation Ceremony for newly admitted undergraduate and postgraduate students for the 2025/2026 academic session will hold on Thursday, January 22, 2026.

According to an official notice issued by the Registrar, the ceremony is scheduled to take place at the Obafemi Awolowo Auditorium, FUTA, commencing at 9:00 a.m.

Fresh undergraduate and postgraduate students affected by the exercise are advised to liaise with the appropriate officials in their respective schools for detailed information regarding the programme, including procedures for the collection of matriculation gowns and other necessary arrangements.

The matriculation ceremony formally admits new students into the university community and marks the beginning of their academic journey at FUTA.
