FUTA Warns Against Admission Fraud for 2024/2025 Academic Session
FUTA has issued a warning to the public about the activities of fraudsters and unscrupulous individuals who are attempting to scam people by falsely offering admission for the 2024/2025 academic session.
The Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA) has issued a warning to the public about the activities of fraudsters and unscrupulous individuals who are attempting to scam people by falsely offering admission for the 2024/2025 academic session.
FUTA emphasized that all admissions are conducted through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and are closely monitored to prevent any form of manipulation. Currently, only the registration of intending candidates is ongoing, and no admissions have been offered yet.
The university urged all candidates, parents, sponsors, and the general public to be cautious of scammers who are spreading false information and offering bogus admissions in exchange for money. FUTA reiterated that admission is strictly merit-based and cannot be influenced by any means.
The public is strongly advised not to pay any money to individuals or groups for checking results, uploading results, or influencing the admission process in any way.
