A young Nigerian woman has touched hearts nationwide after sharing her emotional journey to Borno State for her NYSC. Identified on TikTok as @shimmer.cakes.n.e, she revealed that she spent almost two full days travelling by road through security-tense routes before finally reaching the Borno Orientation Camp.

Throughout the trip, she documented her experience — the fear, the uncertainty, and the courage it took to keep going. Despite the tension, she pushed through and finally arrived safely at camp, overwhelmed with relief and gratitude.
