The Management of Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu University, Kano (KHAIRUN), led by Vice-Chancellor Professor Abdulrashid Garba, warmly received a high-powered delegation from Al-Istiqama University, Sumaila (AUSU), led by its newly appointed Vice-Chancellor, Professor Abdulhadi Sale Kumurya.

The visit aimed to strengthen the already cordial relationship between the two institutions and lay a solid foundation for future collaboration.

Prof. Kumurya highlighted key areas for collaboration, including research, workshops, conferences, staff training, joint applications for research grants, resource sharing, and community engagement initiatives.

Prof. Kumurya requested that the partnership be formalized through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), which Prof. Garba welcomed and agreed to prepare a draft by next week Friday.
