The management of the Lagos State University has released formal procedures for students under the Nigerian Education Loan Fund seeking approval for a change of programme or institution.
According to the directive, affected students are required to submit a formal written request to the institution, clearly stating whether the application relates to a change of course or a transfer to another institution.
The request must include key personal and academic details such as old and new matriculation numbers, old and new JAMB registration numbers, Bank Verification Number (BVN), National Identification Number (NIN), Loan Application ID, active phone number, and email address.
The university further stipulated that the application letter must be typed, signed, and submitted in PDF format via the designated institutional email, while hard copy submissions may also be accepted through the NELFUND Desk Office.

Applicants are also required to attach supporting documents, including admission letters and JAMB admission notifications from both the previous and new institutions or programmes.
The institution advised beneficiaries to adhere strictly to the outlined procedures in order to avoid delays in processing their requests.
For further inquiries, students are directed to the NELFUND Desk Office at the Directorate of Special Intervention, located on the third floor of the Babatunde Raji Fashola Senate Building at the university.
