LASUED Holds 2nd Leadership Workshop, Stresses Quality Service Delivery for Global Competitiveness

The Lagos State University of Education (LASUED) has reaffirmed its commitment to institutional excellence by organizing the second edition of its Annual Leadership Workshop at the Senator Oluremi Tinubu Hall, Main Campus, Oto/Ijanikin, charging members of its leadership team to champion quality service delivery as a catalyst for sustainable growth and global competitiveness.

Speaking at the opening of the two-day workshop held on Tuesday 7th and Wednesday 8th July, 2026, themed "Leadership Roles in Piloting Quality Service Delivery in the University," the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Bidemi Bilkis Lafiaji-Okuneye, said the workshop was institutionalised following the remarkable success of its maiden edition in October 2025, describing it as an annual platform for strengthening leadership capacity and promoting excellence across the University.

The Vice-Chancellor recalled that since LASUED's establishment in 2022, the University has recorded remarkable milestones, most notably the historic 100 percent full accreditation of all 66 academic programmes by the National Universities Commission (NUC) in 2024. She attributed the achievement to the dedication of staff and students, the proactive leadership of Management, the guidance of the NUC, and the unwavering support of the Lagos State Government under the leadership of Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu.
