National President Of Zero Tolerance For Corruption Association Pays Courtesy Visit To KIU Vice-Chancellor

The National President of the Zero Tolerance for Corruption Association, Comrade Sadiq Sabo, paid a courtesy visit to the Vice-Chancellor of Kashim Ibrahim University, KIU, Professor Babagana Gutti, in the University's VC's Conference Room.

Comrade Sadiq Sabo said the delegation was at the University all the way from Kaduna State to commend Professor Babagana Gutti for his outstanding leadership and unwavering commitment to the development of education in Borno State and Nigeria at large.

He noted that the Vice-Chancellor's transparent administration, accountability, and ethical leadership have significantly enhanced the quality of education, strengthened institutional governance, and promoted excellence within the University.

He further stated that, in recognition of these remarkable achievements, the Zero Tolerance for Corruption Association found Professor Gutti worthy of the Award of Honour and the title of Icon of Integrity and Nation Building.

According to him, the award is in appreciation of the Vice-Chancellor's dedication to honesty, integrity and his relentless efforts toward transforming higher education and promoting good governance.

In his response, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Babagana Gutti, warmly welcomed the National President and members of the Association from Kaduna to Kashim Ibrahim University. On behalf of the University Management, he expressed profound appreciation for the honour and formally accepted the award and other recognitions presented to him.

Professor Gutti thanked the Association for finding him worthy of the recognition and described the award as a source of encouragement to continue serving with integrity, transparency and dedication. 

He urged the Association to remain steadfast in promoting ethical values, accountability and anti-corruption campaigns across educational institutions and the wider society. He also encouraged the members to continue supporting educational development, youth empowerment and initiatives that promote national unity, responsible leadership and sustainable development.

The courtesy visit concluded with the presentation of the Award of Honour and the Icon of Integrity and Nation Building plaque to the Vice-Chancellor, followed by a group photograph with members of the University Management and the visiting delegation.
