The Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) has announced the launch of a new job portal tailored specifically for beneficiaries of the Federal Government’s student loan program. This initiative, a first of its kind, aims to help students secure employment after graduation, ensuring they can repay their loans with ease and focus on their studies free from financial worries.

Akintunde Sawyerr, Managing Director of NELFUND, highlighted that this job portal will serve as a bridge between students and employment opportunities, fostering a sustainable education loan system in Nigeria. According to Sawyerr, the job portal will connect students directly with employers across various sectors, significantly reducing the risk of loan defaults by ensuring that graduates are equipped with means to fulfill their loan obligations.

"We are committed to making the education loan process more self-sufficient and stress-free for students," Sawyerr explained.
