NSUK Emerges Top Recipient of Mobility Grants at Zielona Gora University

Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK) has emerged as the top recipient of Mobility Grants for staff and students at Zielona Gora University (ZGU) in Poland, representing Region 9 (Sub-Saharan Africa) and Nigeria.

NSUK secured nine grants, with six already utilized, thanks to its cordial relationship with the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Nigeria.

The achievement was announced during a discussion on further collaboration between NSUK and ZGU, led by Director Linkages and International Cooperation, Assoc. Prof. K'tso Nghargbu, and Professor Umar Ibrahim, Director, Center for Career Development. The meeting also involved key officials from ZGU, including Vice Rektor for Science and International Cooperation, Prof. Engr. Justyna Patalas-Maliszewska, and Erasmus Coordinator for the Institute of Mathematics and Physics, Prof. Sylwia Kondej.

The two universities resolved to explore additional training options through NAWA, joint conferences, and faculty exchange, focusing on areas such as engineering, environmental sciences, medicine, pure sciences, humanities, management, and law.

 

This historic achievement underscores NSUK's commitment to international collaboration and academic excellence, solidifying its position as a leading institution in Nigeria and Sub-Saharan Africa.
