NSUK Signs Landmark Academic Partnership With Istanbul Nişantaşı University

Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), has strengthened academic relations between Nigeria and Türkiye with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Istanbul Nişantaşı University.

The agreement was concluded during the Vice-Chancellor's ongoing international academic mission to Türkiye and forms part of the university's efforts to expand its global partnerships and internationalisation agenda.

Under the agreement, both institutions will collaborate in key academic fields, including Medicine, Engineering, Architecture, Health Sciences, Art and Design, Applied Sciences, Administrative and Social Sciences, and Vocational Studies.

The partnership is expected to promote academic excellence through joint research and publications, international conferences, Erasmus+ mobility programmes, staff and student exchange initiatives, academic capacity building, and other collaborative educational and research activities.

The agreement further strengthens NSUK's growing international presence and reflects the institution's commitment to building strategic global partnerships that enhance teaching, research, and innovation.

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Sa'adatu Hassan Liman, said the collaboration aligns with the university's vision of becoming a globally connected institution by expanding opportunities for students, academics, and researchers while promoting cross-cultural learning and knowledge exchange.

The partnership marks another milestone in strengthening academic cooperation between Nigeria and Türkiye and is expected to open new opportunities for innovation, research, and sustainable institutional development.
