On Monday, August 19, 2024, Alhaji Saidu Ibrahim, the newly appointed NYSC Katsina State Coordinator, addressed staff at the Katsina State Secretariat, outlining his expectations and priorities for his tenure.

During the meeting with heads of branches and units, Alhaji Saidu emphasized the importance of punctuality and dedication to assigned duties. He highlighted his past experience in Katsina and stressed that his focus is on effective delivery and high performance.

Alhaji Saidu Ibrahim warned against engaging in rumor mongering and gossip, stating his zero-tolerance policy for such behavior. He asserted, "If you come and tell me about someone else, I will ask you to wait and invite the other person to hear what you said."

He encouraged staff to provide objective criticism and constructive advice, promoting continuous learning and adaptability. "We learn on the job every day as we face new challenges. No one is a know-it-all. We reassess and readjust to ensure no stone is left unturned in our quest for excellence," he noted.

The Coordinator underscored the importance of teamwork and synergy, urging staff to support him with an open mind to achieve collective success. "I rely on you for support, as you are my people. Together, with God’s grace, we shall succeed," he concluded.

The meeting also served as an opportunity for Alhaji Saidu to gauge the challenges faced by different branches and units. Following the meeting, he and the staff conducted an inspection of the camp facilities.
