Ogbonnaya Onu Polytechnic Releases Revised 2025/2026 Second Semester Academic Calendar

Ogbonnaya Onu Polytechnic has released a revised academic calendar for the second semester of the 2025/2026 academic session through its Directorate of Academic Planning, outlining key academic activities, board meetings, revision periods, and examination timelines.

According to the schedule, the second semester officially commences on Monday 11th, marking the beginning of academic activities for the period.

The calendar also includes multiple Academic Board Meetings scheduled across the semester, beginning with the first on Wednesday 24th, followed by subsequent meetings on Wednesday 29th, Wednesday 26th, Wednesday 23rd, and Wednesday 28th.

Student-focused activities are scheduled for Monday 27th to Friday 31st as Students’ Week, designed to support academic and extracurricular engagement.

Revision Week has been fixed for Monday 3rd to Friday 7th, allowing students to prepare adequately for examinations.

Examinations are scheduled to commence on Monday 10th, while the first phase of examinations is expected to end on Friday 28th.

Following this, External Examinations Week will run from Monday 7th to Friday 11th, as part of the institution’s academic assessment process.

The calendar further indicates that the new academic session, 2026/2027, is scheduled to begin on Monday 5th.

The institution reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining academic order and ensuring smooth implementation of the academic timetable for both staff and students throughout the semester.
