Crescent University has announced its partnership with ICC Africa for the 10th ICC Africa Conference on International Arbitration, scheduled to take place in Lagos.

The development was disclosed by the Proprietor and Chairman, Board of Trustees of Crescent University, Ma’ruf Adesegun Ajibola, during a recent briefing with the university management.

The international conference is expected to host between 250 and 300 participants drawn from over 20 countries, positioning it as a major platform for dialogue on arbitration and alternative dispute resolution across Africa.

The event will provide an avenue to review progress made in arbitration practice on the continent while also addressing emerging opportunities and challenges shaping its future development.

Crescent University’s involvement is expected to contribute to high-level discussions alongside leading global experts in arbitration, legal practice, and dispute resolution.

The conference is themed “A Decade of Excellence: Shaping the Future of International Arbitration & ADR in Africa” and will hold from June 3 to June 5, 2026, at the Lagos Continental Hotel.

University stakeholders described the partnership as a strategic step toward strengthening the institution’s engagement in global legal discourse and expanding its visibility within international arbitration networks.

The institution reaffirmed its commitment to supporting initiatives that advance legal education, cross-border dispute resolution, and professional development in Africa and beyond.
