Police Academy Admission 2026 POLAC Releases Screening Schedule for 13th Regular Course

Nigeria Police Academy (POLAC), Wudil, Kano State, has scheduled the screening exercise for applicants seeking admission into its 13th Regular Course to begin on September 9, 2026.

The exercise, which will run until September 18, will comprise a Computer-Based Test (CBT), physical screening, medical assessment and Selection Board interview.

The academy announced the schedule in a statement issued on Tuesday by its Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Umar Isah, on behalf of the Commandant, AIG Auwal Muhammad.

Applicants are required to print their examination slips between August 25 and September 8 ahead of the screening.

The CBT will be conducted according to candidates’ states of origin and in batches.

Candidates from Abia, Adamawa, Akwa Ibom, Anambra and Bauchi will take the first batch of the CBT on September 9. The second batch, scheduled for September 10, will cover Bauchi Batch B, Bayelsa, Benue, Borno, Cross River and Delta.

The September 11 batch will comprise candidates from Ebonyi, Edo, Ekiti, Enugu, the Federal Capital Territory, Gombe and Imo.

Applicants from Jigawa, Kaduna, Kano and Katsina will sit for the CBT on September 12, while candidates from Kebbi, Kogi, Kwara, Lagos and Nasarawa are scheduled for September 13.

Candidates from Niger, Ogun, Ondo and Osun will take the test on September 14, followed by those from Oyo, Plateau, Rivers, Sokoto and Taraba on September 15.

The CBT schedule will conclude on September 16 with candidates from Yobe and Zamfara.

The academy said applicants must come with the original and photocopies of their required documents, including their Primary School Leaving Certificate, SSCE result, JAMB result slip, birth certificate or declaration of age, LGA indigene certificate and letter of identification.

Others are a completed guarantor’s form, medical certificate of fitness issued by a government hospital, NIN slip, four passport photographs and the application acknowledgement slip.

Candidates have also been directed to appear in white T-shirts, white shorts, white socks and white canvas shoes throughout the screening exercise.

POLAC advised applicants to arrive at the academy a day before their scheduled screening dates, adding that accommodation would be provided within the academy for candidates during the exercise.

Parents and guardians will not be allowed into the academy during the screening.

The academy further warned applicants to obtain information only through the official POLAC admission portal and disregard social media accounts or individuals claiming to represent the institution.

The screening exercise is part of the admission process for the academy’s 13th Regular Course.
