Prof. Ndukwe Elected as New Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture Nnamdi Azikiwe University

Prof. Okorie Ndukwe has been elected as the new Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, at the extraordinary Faculty Board meeting chaired by the Acting Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Carol Arinze-Umobi, on Tuesday, June 24th, 2025, held at the Faculty of Agriculture Auditorium.

Prof. Okorie Ndukwe from the Department of Crop Science and Horticulture polled a total of 50 votes to emerge victorious out of 81 accredited voters, beating Prof. Caleb Ike Ezeano of Crop Science and Horticulture Department who polled a total of 23 votes; Prof. Josiah Okonkwo of the Department of Animal Science polled a total of 7 votes and Prof. James Obiegbuna of the Department of Food Science and Technology polled just 1 vote.
