Sa’adu Zungur University Holds Orientation for New Political Science Students

The Department of Political Science at Sa’adu Zungur University (SAZU) has successfully conducted its orientation programme for the 100-level students of the 2025/2026 academic session.

The event, designed to provide a foundational roadmap for freshers, focused on the core values of academic integrity, discipline, and institutional procedures.

In his opening remarks, the Head of Department, Dr. Umar Musa Adam, formally welcomed the new intake, urging them to prioritize discipline and commitment. He emphasized that academic excellence is only achievable through consistent hard work and adherence to university regulations.

The Chairman of the Orientation Committee, Dr. Yusuf Musa Yahaya, and Dr. Rabiu Barau Bal (representing the Dean of the Faculty) also offered words of encouragement. Additional contributions were made by Dr. Umar Farouk Musa, Malam Umar Farouk Abubakar, and the President of the National Association of Political Science Students (NAPSS), all of whom enjoined the students to stay focused on their primary goal of graduation.

The programme concluded as a landmark success, equipped with impactful presentations that set a professional tone for the students' academic journey within the department.
