ADSU Vice-Chancellor Delivers Easter Message of Hope and Institutional Unity
The Vice-Chancellor of Adamawa State University (ADSU), Professor Augustine Clement, has extended warm felicitations to the Christian community and the people of Adamawa State in celebration of the 2026 Easter season.
In a statement released on April 5, 2026, by the University’s Information and Protocol Officer, D.D. Kwabe, the Vice-Chancellor highlighted the spiritual significance of the season as a period of renewal and the triumph of light over darkness.
Professor Clement urged the University community—including the Governing Council, Senate, and staff—to embrace the core Easter virtues of sacrifice, love, and selflessness. He noted that these values are essential to the institution's mission of providing excellence in education.
"Easter reminds us of the triumph of hope over despair," the Vice-Chancellor stated. "It is a season that calls us to renew our faith and strengthen our commitment to peace, unity, and service to humanity."
Beyond the religious observance, the message served as a call for internal cohesion. Professor Clement encouraged students and staff to use the holiday as an opportunity to foster harmony within the campus, emphasizing that mutual respect and discipline remain the bedrock of the University’s growth.
The Vice-Chancellor concluded by praying for peace and abundant blessings for all homes within the ADSU community, reinforcing the University's steadfast pursuit of knowledge and development despite contemporary challenges.
