ABSU Suspends Prof Nwaeze Over Facebook Post On Professors' Salaries

The management of Abia State University, ABSU, has suspended a lecturer, Professor Nnamdi Nwaeze of the Department of Economics, Faculty of Economics and Management Sciences, with immediate effect.
Nwaeze had, through his Facebook page, alleged that some professors in the institution are earning less than N400,000 monthly.
The university is yet to release an official statement detailing the specific reasons for the suspension beyond the alleged post.
